Is it acceptable to query a magazine to try and sell an article that's already posted on your blog?

I believe that if it is published on your blog, most magazines would consider the piece only as a reprint. If the mag accepts them, then you should have no problem. No matter what you do, be sure and point out that it has already been published on your blog.
In the future, if you think an article has potential for publication elsewhere, you may not want to post it on your blog first...

I'm no expert so I'm not too sure, but I imagine it would be classed as already published. The best thing to do would be to alert the publication that it was already posted on your blog and they'd be able to tell you.
