Not That Big Of A Deal, But Still Annoying

OK, like I said in the title, this is not a life-or-death matter, but it's still a what-the-hell kinda thing.


Several authors on this community have links to their social networking accounts, for example, their twitters. My problem is that when I try to click on a link to an author's twitter to follow him or her, it doesn't take me to the twitter. Opera redirects me to twitter.com, to my own account.


Is there something I'm doing wrong? What is Opera's problem with other authors' twitters?

Are you signed in on twitter? It might be asking you to sign in before you continue.

I sign in every time I go to twitter.com, yes.

Are you signed in before you click the links, though?

It also may be a history thing with your browser. Try clearing it and see what happens.

Try right clicking on the link, the hit copy link location. Open a new tab, and paste the URL into the address bar. What happens then?
