Halloween Erotica - A contest of honor

Alright, guys and gals, there appears to be ample interest in a little writing contest for the Erotica Forum. To the victor goes the adulation of your peers.

The contest starts... well, now. If you're interested, send me a PM.

1. Entries will be due by 5PM on Friday October 23rd. I'll get the stories posted on the Erotica SYW forum by Midnight CST that day, or pretty close to it.
2. There will be a 3,000 word limit.
3. The story should incorporate rain, candles and a shiny black car.
4. Each story will be posted with only a letter designation and title.
5. Everyone with access to the forum will have the opportunity to read the stories.
6. I will post a poll in Erotica SYW where we can vote on the best story. The poll will go up Monday, October 26th and stay open until Thursday, October 30th at midnight (give or take - I haven't figured out how to be precise on the poll timing).
7. Once all the votes are in, I will post the winning story and any honorable mentions.
8. Since I am running it, I am ineligible for competition.

I can't wait to get those first entries.

PS - Please keep a copy of your story, just in case. (I am dealing with phantom report loss at work.)

Since you've got an official time voting closes, you'll probably want to specify a time zone. I recommend your own, leaving the voters to figure out how it compares to theirs.

I'm waiting to see if we've got a shiny black car in the rain, plus a knife, or apples, candles, and a fish. (A fish?)

I might give this a go, though it's a long time since I wrote a short story. Mine will definitely not include vampires, sparkling or otherwise, unless it's someone in a bad costume.

Mine's about a third of the way done. Just a little overcommitted right now. But I'm determined to get it finished. And polished. At least a little.

ahahaha... That's the most I've ever been paid to write!! I'm trying... my webhost went south and all my email is tied up and I need to get my beta reading feedback back to the authors... which has been distracting me... I'm trying to get them to fix the servers so I make a back up of all my email... then find a new web host!!!! *lol* ... but, I do plan to write something for this... got an idea for me plot almost worked out.
