We’re looking for a few great (short) stories from AWers:
We will pay 2¢ per word for accepted stories. We ask for one-time rights to simultaneously produce an e-book version and a print version.
You may submit your story (in standard manuscript format) in as an .rtf email attachment to: [email protected].
Submissions close September 1, 2011!
Proposed date of publication of the anthology is January 2012.

Hi Britney – while thirteen is the limit for membership on the forums, since you read the blog, you’re most definitely a member of the wider Absolute Write community. If it’s okay with your parents and one of them will sign a contract on your behalf, you’re certainly welcome to submit to the anthology.
Can people outside the US participate in this?
Ian, sure – we’ve got several submissions from outside the U.S.

I have been writer for years but never had the nerve to post any of my stories. (Anywhere.) But I am working up the spine to post a short-story on one of these websites. I was wondering how would I be submitting my stories onto the website? If possible can someone e-mail the answer to me? I have to work very strange hours.

Vanessa, I know this is a long shot, but did you attend high-school in CA…C.P. High School? If so, I was in a creative writing class with you. Mr. Malone was teaching…very cool teacher. Sorry I can’t give you input about submitting stories on AW. Do you want to submit for critique, or what?

Hi, I think your website might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your blog in IE, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, very good blog!
