It's come out that 'author' Robin Scott has stolen erotica short stories posted online to sell as her own at Amazon.

If you've ever posted work online, better check to see if you're among Scott's victims.

Please leave negative reviews for plagiarized works, and use your Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and personal contacts to alert erotica authors and readers you might be able to reach.

I wondered the same thing--I've seen that image before, I'm pretty sure, but no idea where.

I wonder whose picture "she" stole for that profile.

Actually, when I was looking at the list of stories earlier I noticed that one of the covers was the same image. Doesn't mean it wasn't stolen, but it may have been a paid-for stock photo. (Wouldn't that be ironic if the covers had been paid for but the stories were all stolen?)

One of the covers was her "memoir", some of the others had fantasy art on them that was almost certainly used without permission.

This person is clearly a shithead. The problem I have with Amazon is that this person put up plagiarized stories before, and they were taken down. Why did Amazon let this happen again under the same "author"?

Doubtful that she would have paid for stock- probably just some model on her list of victims.

Sadly she's probably the tip of the iceberg with regards to erotica plagiarism on Amazon. I think a large number of the 99c stories are stolen.
