Awesome! I didn't know April was Poetry Month.

May I suggest a friend's poetry? Samuel Witt, available on Amazon. I'll go scout out a link :)

ETA: His poetry is under Sam.

We have our poetry slam tomorrow in our village. Kick off is tonight at the county arts council. Tomorrow all the shops and restaurants windows on Main St. will be decorated with prose on bright color papers. It looks cool when you look up and down the street. We do it the same weekend each April.

Thinking of taxes Lady Ice? :D

It went pretty good. All the windows were covered. Someone said they say a guy going by at night reading the poems with his flashlight. Funny.

just purchased a collection of John Updike poetry today...very interesting and no, it's not April but, I figure buying poetry counts whenever you do it...we should all do more of it :)

Hm, I bought these in April:

Homer's Iliad
Homer's Odyssey
Milton's Paradise Lost
Dante's Inferno

Yesterday I bought:

Kalevala
Vergil's Aeneid
Chaucer's Selection from Canterbury Tales (bought it because it had the original text alongside a modern translation... though I could do without the modern translation.)
Lakhnavi & Bilgrami's The Adventures of Amir Hamza
