I’ll have to watch this on my other box. You can use ‘em to make a kind of time machine. In my WIP (actually pretty much completed) space opera short story, an intelligent Creature from String Theory expectorates gravitationally collapsing loops of cosmic string and uses the resulting black hole as a weapon.

Finally got around to watching the clip. Very well written and presented; clear and accurate. I should watch more of these.
