Way to go, Anne, Alliekat, and Aggy! Awesome news, all around.

My Week#17 story from last year ("Identity Thief") has been released by Musa Publishing, and working with the editors + graphic arts team was a rewarding experience. The final product looks great. My only concern: they haven't done a whole lot of marketing.

In other news, "Captain Quasar and the Popularity Contest on Goobalox Five" will be published by Every Day Fiction on the 6th. =]

Didn't ya know? It's your job to do the marketing. It's the same way with novels. Author has to market their novel till it picks up public interest, or the NYT takes a gander at it. Then they'll lend you some marketing help -- no money, tho.

(I was reading about this on an author's blog, who despite her successful series, only makes $18,000 a year from book sales.)
