The PM announcement is finally up!
For those who question the power of sheer bloody-minded, bull-stubborn, utterly mad perseverence, this book burned through 281 agent rejections (explicit or tacit or still out at the time of my accepting rep) before the Outer Gods inspired me to double-check some agents who I thought weren't accepting unsolicited queries. The wonderful Craig Tenney was among those who actually were.
I queried. He asked for the full and read it overnight and offered rep the next day. Not long after, he (a much much sharper marketer than I, obviously) made a three-book deal with Tor!
I used to wonder about the credo that when you hit the right desk, the magic could happen.
Sign me up now as a believer!
Now back to work on Book Two, but first, many many thanks to AW for the long-ago query help and the continuous shoptalk and moral support! Love you guys.
