This is a strange one. From anywhere in AW, the browser's Back to button doesn't work properly with IE 8 under XP. That's the left-pointing arrow at the top left.
It takes two clicks instead of one to navigate to the previous page. Prior to the first click, the yellow display window shown when the cursor hovers on the button says this:
http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/...a=0flash=11.2.202.235url=http://www.(Alt+left)
Click once and nothing happens except that the display changes to the url of the previous page. Click a second time, and the browser changes to the previous page.
This behavior is not in IE 7, Chrome, or Firefox. It does not occur on other websites, including those that use vBulletin. I cleared the browser's cache, and the behavior persists.
The same thing happens with the Backspace button.
I see the problem mentioned elsewhere on the net, but no real solutions.
The url suggests that google ads is part of the problem, for whatever that's worth. Or maybe flash.
This problem started recently.
Does anyone else here see this behavior? Or know what causes it?
