About time. Tired of hearing about this ego-maniac on the news. Let him fade away and move onto better things.

Next stop for Charlie: Celebrity Apprentice, followed by Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

Seriously, he's just loathsome.

Hmm. I just watched Entertainment Tonight and they did not report this.

In fact, they made it sound like he might have struck a deal with the show to come back.

So much for the "Chuck Lorre needs the publicity" theory. :) Sounds like Sheen will be going straight to Celebrity Rehab.

That or Hoarders.

I guess ET must have taped their show ahead of time so they weren't up on the latest news.

I heard them say Charlie was fired on the nightly news. And of course it's all over the Internet.

Hoarding what? strippers and porn stars? that'll make an interesting episode. how will he ever decide who to discard?

I could NOT stand that disgusting piece of shit show. I'm glad Charlie did the spiral. He did the world a favour. I hope the show doesn't somehow see rebirth.

I'm glad, though I did like the show when it first began. I thought the jokes were fairly clever, and I didn't know what a lunatic Sheen was.

But after a couple years, as the kid got older, the show got boring and repetitive.

I liked Sheen's on-screen mom too. She was funny sometimes.

I feel bad for the other actors, but definitely not Sheen.

He needs...to be taken down a few notches. Not that that'll happen. He'll just be indignant and find someone to take advantage of his insanity to make them both money.

You should buy a TV that doesn't autotune to the show and force you to watch it. Then, you wouldn't care if it was on.

Kinda like me and American Idol.

Or just get a DVR/Tivo. I only watch what I record. You wouldn't notice all the crap that's on TV because you never get to watch them.

While I agree I wouldn't want to see someone fall apart... Charlie Sheen's problems are bigger than his drug and alcohol abuse. He tested "clean" after all. I think it's a problem because he is basically a 12-year-old living in a 45yo man's body. He has the perpetual Peter Pan Syndrome and believes he can behave badly and people would still love him... and the public enabled him for a very long time. It's time to shut him down and show him some tough love, and see if he ever grows up.

There's no one else to blame except Sheen himself. His family has offered help but he turned them all down. He knew he needed help but he wasn't "ready." You can't help someone who doesn't want any help. Intervention can only go so far. So while I don't wish this on anyone, I do wish for him to wise up and seek help... and soon. And wish for the media and general public to STOP enabling him.

That looks very tidy, but I can tell you aren't an addict. His testing clean has nothing to do with anything. You would know that if you were in recovery. He's been ingesting drugs of one sort or another for some time. Just because a person stops using or drinking doesn't mean they bounce right back to "normal". As a matter of fact - most long term users never do. The way they interpret the world has changed.

It isn't surprising that you, and probably plenty of others unfamiliar with addiction, are labeling him - Peter Pan Syndrome or whatever else comes to mind - that's very convenient and extremely shallow. The problem is that you don't understand the massive internal war that goes on inside the active addict or the new person in recovery. And because you don't understand you adopt terms that make you feel okay.

Blame - in a situation like his - is useless. It's like using the word should. It serves no point.
