I am replying to your last email which requested I requery in November for consideration of my rights being returned for my novel Obscure Origins.

Thus, I will once again request my rights be returned to me.
My reasons for contract release are still valid, and I will list them once again to make sure we are clear.
1. ) My book Obscure Origins still contains grammar errors that render the novel un-sellable. I have been denied book signings, despite my best efforts, because managers have informed me that nobody would pay $27.95 for a 6x9 trade paperback that has not been edited and does not hold the average 40% percent discount all bookstore chains receive. Especially when most paperbacks of such length sell for between $9.99 and $12.99.
2. ) On another note, Borders is unable to order my novel to begin with due to the fact it is not listed within their system and renders any sales obsolete.
3. ) Since my books release, it has held no sales ranking on Amazon or any other of the book retailer sites which proves that it is in the best interest of both parties to terminate due to my novel not generating any sales. I know this for a fact because I contacted them and if my book even sold one copy a sales ranking would be generated.
4.) Your determination in encroaching on my rights by saying I could NOT create a comic book of my work is indeed a breach of contract on your part.
5.) I have already made a purchase of over $400 in copies of the book in January which should offset any expenses you, PublishAmerica, may have endured in the creation of Obscure Origins.
6.) In the year that Obscure Origins was released it has sold a mere 5 copies according to my royalty statement. This has made you nor I any money.
I regret to inform you, that I will not be purchasing anymore copies of said book due to the fact I cannot afford to provide any books for signings or promotion. The books purchased, as mentioned before, had to be given away due to the steep price, and most friends and family have refused to purchase the book and have asked just to read the raw manuscript.
Therefore, I believe it is in the best interest of both parties to terminate my contract immediately. I believe we can both reach a professional agreement which will have a positive outcome for us both.
I expect a letter via registered mail with a full disclosure of my rights being returned as soon as possible and an immediate response to this email.
