Hello fellow writers. Like all of you on this forum, I am also a Publish America author/victim. I published my book MIGHTLY FINE REMEMBERING, a collection of poetry and lyrics with them in 2006, and was duped into paying them more than I'll probably ever make on the book, so that I could have copies to sell on my own. Despite giving several away, I've made more on my own selling my book, than PA ever will. I told myself at first that poetry was just a hard sell (which it is) but after finding this forum here, I know how much of a nightmare we're all going through, and I now know that I'm not alone. I definitely would like to get out of my contract, but may have to wait it out. I'm only half way through, but I'll NEVER give them any more money. Thanks for listening.
