Help me re-name my new horse! With photo goodness!

I finally got a horse and my bank account does tremble. He's a brat but fun and can really move. He's totally out of shape because his old owner was afraid of him and didn't have time or interest.

After I got him to his new home and he settled in, I took him to the arena and did some ground work and lunging before hoping on. We just did a little walk and trot but he went smoothly. His lateral work is a bit random atm, but he'll get it back fast.

So, I'm thinking a Latin or Greek or Mythological name maybe. Something that's elegant but won't go to his head. He already reared and lunged into a gate during a hissy fit today! And I don't mean he reared and then lunged. He was doing airs above the ground sans brains. Yeah.

And that is why his nickname is Skunk Head.

Rambunctious and bad tempered? Name him Hercules. Herakles. Whatever.

I've always liked the name Xerxes for an animal.

He's quite a handsome horse, Fen!

Perseus is quite a heroic name. Poseidon is nice too, he's sometimes a horse so it all works out.

What about one of the Mares of diomedes? They were wild, man-eating horses and one of hercules' tasks was to steal them.

They are (according to wikipedia):
Podagros (the fast), Lampon (the shining), Xanthos (the blond) and Deimos (the terrible)

Personally I'm a fan of Lampon.

Sleipnir has always been my favorite name for a horse. (but norse, not Greek Mythology.) If nothing else, Zephyros is always a cool name

Oh yeah any of the greek winds too would be really good names. Boreas (north), Notus (south), Zephyrus (west), and Eurus (east).

He looks like two horses my grandmother had. One was Named Jigsaw, and the other was Ghost. <3 Pinto colors.
