Email from the Refugee Camp

When I found out AW was down, I sent out a mass-email from the Refugee Camp . However, a lot of people didn't get the email because their email address there was invalid.

If you want to be notified next time (God forbid), make sure your email address is correct in your Refugee Camp profile. If you've never registered for the Camp, you can do so now. I'll keep registration open for a few days.

If you can't get in, let me know at [email protected] and I'll take care of it for you.

Note to new registrants: PLEASE put your *real name* OR your *AW username* in the Real Name field so I can distinguish it from spam bots. Thanks.

I created the Refugee Camp originally for the Great AW Blackout of 2006. It's only function is to act as an alternate site during these things. I run it so Mac doesn't have to worry about it while she's dealing with AW problems.

(Not) Written in Stone is a real, honest-to-goodness forum that Mac runs for people to talk about books as opposed to writing. It's on a separate server with a different ISP, so it shouldn't go down if something happens to AW.

People also congregated at Making Light, Facebook (AW Addicts group) and AW Chat.
