England openers were crap again. Thank the cricket gods for Joe Root!

430 isn't bad for a first innings, I guess. But it's probably 50 short.

Unless our bowlers are on form.

I was on the road all day and kept losing the radio signal, so had no idea how it was going. Now I'm in a motel with an enormous television, so am going to watch Australia's innings until I can't keep my eyes open. (About half an hour at this rate.)

Managed to stay awake long enough to see Warner dismissed, Cook copping a ball to the 'nads and Root being thoroughly entertained by it all.

Unfortunately I'm still at my mom's and she doesn't like cricket...... so I've only got the scores to look at.

Even Cook was trying to laugh about it, but it hurt so much. Men, eh?

Australia really under pressure now. England should set them somewhere north of 400 to chase and the weather looks like it will not be a factor.

And England win inside 4 days. Really solid performance, Joe Root is a star.

The rollercoster continues. After the trashing Australia handed out at Lords England win inside 3 days.

And three overs into the fourth Ashes Test, Australia are now 15-4.

Our fans very sportingly gave the Australians a big round of applause when they passed 50.

Well that was good fun!

I've been listening to the Women's Ashes on TMS and that's been good fun as well. But more like it should be for Ashes. Up and down and lasting longer than 2 days and a little bit!

This has been an odd series.....
