Simultaneous Submissions for short stories

What a sunny view of the world you have. do you take vitamins or something?

I'm an optimist. I find that a positive attitude makes life *so* much easier to live. But then, as an optimist, I would find that, wouldn't I?

It looks like I am an outsider on this topic. I will always send my stories out to more than one publication. You wait a long time to hear something. I rather wait a long time to hear five somethings. And there are enough publications that I don't think you will go through them so quickly. If a story is accepted, I don't see it as a problem just to email the other places. Just my thoughts on this.
