I have noticed that the software provided by vBulletin appears to be 'dumb' to French acutes eg. cliches, resume.
Is this the case? Or is this something that the writer is able to supply, assuming that he knows how?I would really would like to know the answer to this.
Partly a quirk of character, but I really _do_ dislike it when people don't supply these when they are a proper part of the word. For example, the current popular 'dropping' of the French acute in the word resume-as in curriculum vitae- (sorry, maddeningly I don't know how to supply it via this software) really, really gets up my goat!
