OK - I'm back to this whole platform thing. I know platform is critical for getting a book published, but I'm not sure how strong that platform needs to be.
One of the strongest parts of my platform will be our website. I have no idea how many readers we will end up getting, but I'm wondering how many we would need to have for it to be "impressive" for agents and publishers. 500 per day? 1000 per day? 5000? 10,000? What's that magic number when a publisher will say, "Gosh - there are a lot of people interested in that story!"?
