Congratulations all! And I must say, I voted very well, even if I do say so. Great efforts on the entries in a tough form. I'm way impressed.

Congrats to all the entrants for having the courage to submit and congrats to the winners for standing above. There were some VERY fine poems amongst this collection, a couple that I coveted as I voted.

Can;t wait to see who wrote 'em all. :)

And when you see mine, you'll howl as wolves might finding easy prey. :)

Well, this was a nice result on an otherwise dreary and blustery day. Thank you all. Congratulations to Kerr, Poetinahat, Michael C., Cassie88, and Dylan.

A special nod to Poetinahat as he wrote my favorite; great content and perfect iambic pentameter! Come out and take a bow, Rob!

Congrats to the winners! I had 4 out of 6 of those poems as my choices for finalists.

This is the first time I did not enter the poetry contest. Good thing because boy was it hard to choose the finalists. Tough competition.

In my head.
I missed this anouncement, I don't think my pages are updating like they're supposed to when I click in here.

Congrats to all the winners! Fantastic job. And to all who participated thanks for your hard work and very good poems. This was really a great contest. More ahead???

Thanks LD for a massive effort.

Not that it matters a hill-o-beans what I think, but I vote we extend Mark's term in office for another go'round after March. It's been a blast having his enthusiasm and input. Here, here and Bravo to Our PL!

I second that motion, if Mark is up for it!

Congratulations to everyone who won!

The contest was lots of fun and a great challenge for me as I've never written a sonnet before. I'm one of those that writes free verse and hopes it accomplishes what I intend.

I really enjoyed reading up on sonnets and then attempting one myself.

Thanks, Limey, for the motivation!

As much as I appreciate it, I reaaaaaaaalllly need to get started on my next book. You can never have too much money or too many trunked MSs.
