So, ok this is this book actually a series that I absolutely love its The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyers. I started off reading New Moon, and couldn't put it finished reading it continued to the other two. But I was soo enthralled in the characters, the storyline- usuall it takes me a few tries before I can get through the first chapter much less the whole book. Actually it was because of her that I went back to my novel. Truelly amazing!!!!

shh... I'm thinking...
I know this seems very left-field... Are those the vampire-esque stories written by a Mormon mom?

ETA: I've heard great things about the series. :)

Yes she would be the one. Everyone who has read her books absolutely love it. When I was working at B&N, I was pratically promting the book to the customers. I have read the books variou times, it one of those you never get tired of reading over and over again. Not just teenagers are reading it but people of all various ages.

1. Twilight
2. New Moon
3. Eclipse
4. Breaking Dawn (Comming on August 2)

Those books are so amazing

I hear they are making them into a movie. Part of me is excited. Other part is worried they are going to completely ruin them. Which will make me very angry

Not me. I borrowed the box set from a friend and regretfully made it all the way through.

I have to say that I liked the first, hated the second, and read the third out of obligation. Jacob, to me, is the only realistic character. Edward is just arrogant and silly, and Bella strikes me as whiny and too angst and unrealistically self-sacrificial. Basically all the vampires were to a point of perfect, except for maybe Victoria (who was, in my opinion, killed way too easily, but I loved how she was described as having a baby voice). It's very cliche but in their defense, cliches are cliches for a reason (they're so generally loved and have been around for so long). As far as YA books go, I have to say it's quite run-of-the-mill, but the first book is not an entirely bad read.

He is why I am reading past New Moon. I'm not fond of Bella. :( She's too stupid sometimes, and I wish she'd just slap Eddie for being a domineering poo-head. That said, Jacob, and the sheer fun of these lil' romances is enough to keep me reading. High art, they are not. But I was a teenage girl once too, and these take me back.
