My new WIP, Unsuspected Murder, is my attempt at writing a thriller. My hitman is not the MC, but plays a major role in the lives of my MC and family. I would like to start the book out with my hitman killing. A very short chapter. How much in this chapter should I give the reader about the hitman? Description.

Thx

Only you can answer that question. A lot depends on the tone of your book overall, the level to which you want to tip the audience off to the hitman's identity, whether you need distinguishing characteristics to define him, etc.

honey, I saw this first chapter and honestly, I thought it was very good. Are you going to go from there and do perhaps a scene break?

Doing some rewrites right now. Just have to see what works.
