Okay, that is just weird! I put in the name of one of my most well-established characters, and the analysis was eerily accurate...

Thanks for posting the link! :)

My name is incredibly far off from being me. Stupidly so.
However it is spot on for one of my characters, lol

Lol. I put in my MC's name and the personality type was the complete opposite of him.

But its a very fun site, and I can see where it would be useful.

Thanks for the tip!

you don't have to base your characters entirely upon the site's analysis, but you can get some good ideas! I entered my own name into that site and what I got doesn't match me at all.

Mix and match and experiment to create lots of unique characters!

When I was a kid a friend's mother had had her house burn down when she was a child. She admitted to me one time that after she and her husband bought their first house, she would stop to call home when she was shopping. She figured if it rang it meant the house wasn't on fire. No sure it that's true, but it does describe a phobia.

That is quite strange - I've put in two MCs names and they've come out semi-accurate, but I just entered the name of my chief villain in my WIP and that one is spot on!

I share the number 11 with an MC.

'High spiritual plane, intuitive, illumination, idealist, a dreamer.'

Not sure if that fits me, but it works for him.

OH GOD! That was just scary. I did my own name just to see. I could put my name at the top and call it AUTOBIOGRAPHY. Creepy!

My characters have Indian names... hm.....(that I made up myself) (no, I'm not)

You entered: Sees DifferentThere are 13 letters in your name.
Those 13 letters total to 63
There are 5 vowels and 8 consonants in your name.

Your number is: 9
The characteristics of #9 are: Humanitarian, giving nature, selflessness, obligations, creative expression.

Yes, I can see this. I also need to develop my characters more fully.

Thanks! Cool-i-O!

Well, mine said, "Word skills are your thing, especially writing."

I think it might just be on to something.

LOL. I put in one characters name. She's a bossy, smug, full-of-herself princess, who thinks she should always be the centre of attention.

The thing said that she was introverted, quiet, that she would like to mingle with people of all nations, she was a deep thinker, rational, seclusive, and peaceful, abstract, spiritual, with nervous tension. Apparently she also dreams of being free of responsibility. What! She loves her priviledged position :p. Crazy. Not ONE single trait fitted her :p.

I did one for me. THat was totally wrong too. It said I was very very social. No way. I'm a writer, self-contained, and who cares about anyone else-ish. However it was right in one way - I like to be the leader, and I'm fiercely independant.

The one for my MC was the freakiest. The most important aspect of her is that she is the first Enchantress in 500 years who could do all types of magic (It is normally resricted to one area). The first comment was the she was multi-talented and versatile! OMG! However the rest of it was wrong - all about how social and independant she is. She's not. She's spent all of her childhood in a remote forest which she only left a week ago. Consequently, she's very shy, and a bit nervous around too many people. It didn't get her mischievousness either, which is an important part of her.

It's very fun though!

ETA: ARGH!!!!!!!! It said that my villian is loving, nuturing, conscientous, and "capable of rectifying and balancing any sort of inharmonious situation. " He is also "very much inclined to give help and comfort to those in need." Apparently he "shows concern for the betterment of the community" What the hell! He tried to KILL the WHOLE world! However, he does "dream of power", which makes it a little more realistic. Phew. Am I going off on the right track? :p Should I have a plot twist showing he's innocent ? lol.

Also, my very annoying little brother is "intended to be the big brother/big sister type" Noooooo!

Someplace else.
Mine were all fairly accurate for my MCs. I must be very intuned to my inner numerologist. ;)

It's like astrology - it could apply to anyone. The 'analyses' are too universal.

Fun fun fun! Thanks for sharing. My number turned out to be my actual favourite number, heh. And my MC was spot on. Unfortunately I have too many characters whose names I haven't figured out yet.

Wow this was really interesting! I found that when I entered the names of my two main characters, the descriptions were mostly similar. It didn't work for me or my secondary characters, but I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing!

Okay, that is just weird! I put in the name of one of my most well-established characters, and the analysis was eerily accurate...

"Even a stopped clock is right twice a day."

I entered the name of a sadistic rapist in my WIP, and got, "Responsibility, protection, nurturing, community, balance, sympathy."

Very helpful, as I notice all groundless superstitions tend to be...

That means you chose his name wrong. Not in tune with the Universal Mysticnumerosacredalgebrian Clock of the Universe. You've probably caused a disaster and many kittens have died.
