Well I'm changing my story completly around and I decided to include a Native American and possibly something that of their history or somehow weave it into the story. I was going to write them a letter and possibly go visit the Tribe to recieve more information. Now I might be using maybe a fact or two. My question is that even though the book is fictional would I still have to put in a reference of where I might of gotten some of my info? Thanks:)

If the person you want to include in your story is still living, you may need to get a release from them to use them in a work of fiction. A request by letter with details of how you intend to include them in your story would be a good idea. Some people are touchy about such things so it's best to be on the safe side. Not to mention any possible legal issues.
