book characters .... how to create them?

I started to write a book on single women. but I started writing as a first party. but I got lost. I not sure how to create a third party in it. I know it as a play but as a book it hard for me.
any help here!:bang :cry

Same thing you did with a play: you give the character a face, a voice and let him/her speak and do interesting things. The only thing you need to do in a book that you don't normally do in a play is to give him/her things to do -- walk around, frown, jump, etc. Imagine you're directing an actor to act out the play -- you'll have to describe what he does on paper.
 

Writing Again

Picture what you want to convey about the characters and places in a way that creates the feeling you want within you. Then write that picture in such a way as to invoke the same emotions in the reader.
