My agent asked me for a bio and a list of all the magazines I've worked for. I am a children's writer - what goes into a bio. Are any of the tidbits personal - i.e. wife, mom, writer along with professional credits or professional credits only. Also when I list all the places I have worked for and things I've had published do I list them as a list i.e. 1.2.3.4. or just include all the info in a paragraph.

Thanks! Any help is great! I'm lost!

I don't think there are any personal details included, in my experience. Just summarize the experience in a paragraph. But, I think an itemized list would be acceptable too. Your agent will probably use it when she pitches your project, and can reformat the info if need be.

Is there any reason you can't ask her directly what exactly she needs?

I should just ask her myself -but this week . . . I've been a bit of a nag. I've been trying to keep from asking her forty zillion questions. I will ask her tonight when she emails me. Thanks for the info! =)

Also, you can ask her for a 'good example' that she may have on hand. That way you can model your answer in a form you know she likes.
