As part of a larger program I am being gifted with 10 minutes to read my "best" work.

I'm unsure what to read--I never know what to think of my own work, really.

Anyone here familiar with my work want to help me choose?

All suggestions are welcome.

Many thanks.

Dirk

Congratulations!
I'll take a look see, you know I've always been partial to your work.
I also suggest just skimming through it yourself. Go with your first instinct, pick many and start reading them outloud, then pick those that appeal in the reading.

I'll do the same. (pops open a Corona)

So, at what kind of event will you be reading your work?

Some kind of general artists gathering for a center in the area--they offer short term cloistering and such so you can have some peace and quiet to work in. Coolest thing about it is that it is in an old monastery (Mount St. Francis--which suddenly sounds very unchristian to me).

Thanks so much--I'll do this too.
