I was just wondering...how many of you are published and in what genre? I presently have a completed paranormal romance being read by a couple of agents, and a bunch of rejections from others. I was just curious what everyone else was writing and able to get published.

Yes, but only in Australia and NZ. My genre is science fiction humour (think Red Dwarf, Hitchhikers Guide, that sort of thing).

I'm currently writing book four in the series and my agent is shopping the first three around British publishers at the moment.

The good thing about the SF/Humour genre is that it's a specialised niche with very little competition. The bad thing about SF/Humour is that it's a specialised niche.

My memoir, Look Me in the Eye, is coming out this fall. My next book will be a non fiction work on Asperger's syndrome. My first book is about growing up with Asperger's, where the second will talk more about the condition itself.

No, and yes. I am not so inspired to do so at this moment in time. Or again? My work isn't about credits, as such, so I have the luxury of writing without the pressure of publication.

Although, I submit someday, I will submit someday.

No I'm not. I am working toward legitimate publication though, in the Fantasy/SF genre.

A few published short stories and lots of non-fiction articles and features. No novel yet ... I have to finish a manuscript first. ;)

Yap.

Autor Repair Shams and Scams (non-fiction)

Garage Sale Mania (non-fiction)

Word Wars (Just released SF novel), extreme Farenheit 451 meets Soylent Green, with a dash of Enemy of the State.

Once Upon a Goddess (coming in November--Urban Fantasy) Pretty damn close to Bedazzled, with no devil deals.

Yes. Contemporary urban fiction (Taking Comfort written as Roger Morris, published in 2006) and historical crime fiction (The Gentle Axe, written as RN Morris, published earlier this year).

Thanks so much everyone. I was just wondering, especially if I'm writing in a genre that is being stuffed down agents throats so much they are sick of it. I appreciate your inputs, and congratulations on being published, and good luck to those out there like me......still keeping every part on my body crossed that it works out. I'm so crossed I'm starting to get cramps!

Only short fiction so far - one story out, two more accepted and upcoming. Genre? Hardcore warrioress ass-kicking... I mean, heroic fantasy!
