An Unremarkable First Post

Hello all,

I'm a 24 year old currently making a serious effort to finish my first novel (having only written several plays, screenplays and radio scripts in the past). I thought I'd sign up so at that when I procrastinate, I will at least still be thinking in a writerly way

I'm sure I will be loitering in the novel section of the forum soon enough!

However, if I could manage a first draft of a novel between April and June (along with big chunks of its sequel), I'm sure you can do far better.
