Hello everyone. I've been lurking for several days and finally decided to join. I'm pretty impressed with the wide variety of writers, the info on agents and editors, and the crit section.
Look forward to getting to learn more about writing.
Oh, and before you ask, I've been working on my first novel--a historical family saga with magic realism elements (don't quite know how else to explain it cuz it's not really fantasy). Never had fiction published before (although I've also never submitted it, so no surprise), but have had 2 poems published. One in a religious themed teen girl collection from St. Martin's press when I was 17 and another in my undergrad's literary annual magazine (does that last one really count?).
