Hello,

My name is Dave and I'm an American living in England, though I've been here so long I have more English tendencies than American these days.
I work as a Technical Author writing user manuals for satellite communications equipment. During my lunch hours and evenings/weekends I'm working on the first draft of a suspense/thriller novel.
This looks to be the best forum for writers I've come across, so hopefully I'll stick around for awhile.

Hi Dave! I'm soooooooo jealous. I love the UK, but sadly I'd have to work illegally if I lived there and that whole deportation thing is just a little inconvenient.

I do tech writing too (not full time) and am likewise working on my first suspense/thriller novel. Well, at least that's the plan. I have nightmares that my novel will be as boring as the tech stuff I am forced, I mean I am pleased to develop for work. :D
