Project Title Help

I need help on a title for two projects I'm workin' on

The first one (a movie) is about a guy and girl who broadcast the basketball games for their school on the schools internet radio station. The girl (Nicole) is asked to play on the basketball team after one of the players is injured. This dumps the whole broadcast load on the guy (Jason). He in the midst of all of it misses his broadcast partener and she has forgotten him because of her teamates. Nicole is a sure win for the MVP, but the girl she replaces comes back from the injury right before the state tournament. Nicole is removed from the team for lack of jerseys and the fact that she was just a replacement.

They win the state championship

At the awards thing Nicole's sister gets the MVP, but gives it to Nicole because she was the true MVP.

Well I won't tell you the other one for sake of time and energy, but that's a start. All ideas will be appreaciated.

why would an MVP candidate level player NOT be on the team in the first place? losing nicole

is she a surprise "ringer" that only learned how to play by watching and commenting on game after game? the ringer

and lack of jersey... that's a pathetic excuse. no jersey for you! this title only works if spoken like the soup nazi

I wasn't going to get into critiquing the concep, but I agree with Nikee.

Serious issue with the jersey excuse and it is quesionable that she would be cut from the eam if she is far better than the other girl.

I think you need to take a look at the story logic on this one.

But how about that for a title-

Thanks for help I think I might go with "Most valuable Player" thanks tourdeforce. I'll also work on the plot to make it more real.

I'd not worry about the title at all. Once you finish the story (not the script, the story), understand the plot, understand the key issues you are dealing with, then a title may jump out a bit easier. Also, the title you write now isn't likely to be the title at the end anyway...
