Greetings!
My name is Ed Faris, I'm a full time student, and a part time writer. So far, I haven't even come close to selling a thing, but I love to just write.

I may present some of my works on here, I may not. But, this is a great place, a place to meet others like myself.

Hey there Lastlight. Welcome. I'm new here as well but I can say it's a great place to visit. Hope you do show some work. Definately check out the SYW section though, there's some excellent advice over there.

Hi again, Ed! Yes, I have, although I am not a member. I stumbled across it following links one day. I plan to check it out more fully at some point.

I could say that I am not a rabid fan of the books but I did buy a piece of property surrounded by woods on two sides, which I am cleaning up so I can install lamp posts in them (the woods, I mean). :D And I guess I cannot deny that I printed a color picture of the lamp post in the woods from the movie website to show people helping me what I wanted it to look like. :tongue

The books are the first I can remember reading (and reading and reading and reading), and all these years later I still enjoy them.

About all you'll get is a welcome and then be ignored whenever you post..Or you could be like everyone else and stay around all day and night with nothing better to do. I'm just on here for a few minutes then i'm off to actually do something productive

Aye, I've tasted that already, a bit. Thanks though! (seeing as I'm on my Wii with only internet connection, this is the best thing I've to do at 1AM)

Absolutely not true. Join in, have fun, be helpful and respectful, and you'll make friends. With any community, you'll get out what you put in. This is no different.

Ed - or any newbie - do join in. Sometimes you have to be persistent, but there are always people around to help or answer questions.
