new tip for musicians

rtilryarms

Finished laying laminate flooring over the weekend and still have baseboards to go. But...
I noticed the unfurnished room reverb is particularly tuned to my voice. I grabbed my guitar and sat down on an overturned old laundry bucket and strummed a C chord. Sure enough the walls and flloor did not clash with the strings. In fact it sounded better than ever! A well tuned room.

I may never replace the sofa, chairs, computers and pictures. The bucket looks just fine.

heh

nothing

But nothing, I repeat, NOTHING, compares to the bathroom at my house when I was growing up. The sound quality is doomed to be forever unmatched. Alas.

I guess your career wasn't a "drop in the bucket".

I crack [me] up at this hour.

Ah, but can you capture that reverb with mikes? Now there's a challenge!
