Hi all,
I have been described as an undercover Liverpudlian (no accent, so you wont know who's stolen your wheels) and I have been just about everything from illustrator to scientist, but I got tied with being interesting so I am now in computing.
I started writing with a good mate, basically as an excuse to gab (translation - talk constantly) and drink beer on a regular basis. The story we started has just about been finished (about 15 years later), but new stories keep popping into my head and even into my dreams.
There has even been a bit of poetry, when the mood takes me.
Basically, I started to write, because I felt that I had a story to tell. Now I keep writing, because it is a vent for feelings that I barely knew I held.
I must say that I am very impressed with the forum. There are some very savy people about and I am looking forward to throwing my efforts into the bear pit, to see what happens.
Mainly, I am looking forward to just talking about writing with people who know what the thrill is all about.
Cheers
Brad
