I'm the Executive Editor of a new play publishing company called The Drama Place. We were established a year ago to address a desperate need. Elementary and middle school teachers are clamoring for humorous plays that are written for large casts (20 to 30 actors), are easy to produce and are based on well-known stories such as fairy tales, folktales and classic children's books. There's also a need for fresh, funny Christmas plays and other Bible-based scripts for church youth groups.
We happily accept email submissions. And, unlike most play publishers, we don't require that your play be produced before you submit it. We know a good thing when we see it!
