Getting your stats

Hello everyone! Im trying to post a code from statcounter into my livejournal, but it just isn't working. I've followed instructions to a T, and managed to paste the code into a message, as I was told to do, but when I go online it shows as code. Can anyone help, if necessary do it for me?

In Rich Text Mode, click on the "Source" button. Paste the code in there, then click Source again.

You should see your counter.

That's exactly what I did, Christine. Several times. All that happens is trhat the code appears - as code - in the text.

I don't think LJ will support a stat counter Aruna.

Where are you pasting it?

It does; I know someone who has one. It is pasted into the body of the message. She told me how to do it - just like Christine said.

Did you get it to work? Cause that's just weird, because I've pasted code that way for other things quite a bit. I've never done a counter though.

No, it hasn;t worked yet. I think I'll get some techno whiz to do it for me.

I'm not fond of stat counter. Extreme tracking seems to be the best so far, as well as Bravenet for public chatting and Google analytics for the more advanced stats.

i added blogpatrol to a couple of new blogs then when i crossed over to the new blogger they lost em

you d think they d ave a stats thing at blogger wouldn t you???
