Link Exchange for Blogs, Web Sites

After doing a bit of research and crunching some numbers and some SEO stuff what I would like to propose as follows:

If anyone is interested in a link exchange for the blogs.
For instance: I will create a list for Blogs Of Note (or something along that title in my blogs) and will exchange links with anyone willing to if you can put up a list of links on your blog.

I am open to other suggestions as well.

(This has nothing to do with the Cobwebs Of The Mind Blog Reviews that I do)

The purpose of this exercise is to get the backlinks, and if you are in the Technorati network to add to the "links" for that as well.

If anyone is interested that is great. It can be done on an ongoing basis, and the list can be kept live - so that anyone can share links with anyone else....

I do hope this is clear...

BTW...this is IMHO the best and fastest way especially in blogs to increase Page Rank as well as popularity. Remember Google has a search engine and then a seperate seach engine for Blogs.

They may be good they may work..but not for me...

What I am talking about is a simple exchange of links..no comments, no need to say anything...

I put up a list in all my blogs heading say "Great Blogs To Visit" and then the person exchanges links with me. Each blog another link. I put that link and blog name in the list (side of the page in Beta Blogger) and they do the same wherever their list is. Obvisously you decide which Blog you want the link in or in all three. But for each entry you also put an entry in your blog. NOT A POST. An entry on the side.

Simply put folks. The links become backlinks for Google. The are counted in PageRank etc. They are there and they remain there.

Additionally at least two of my blogs Cobwebs Of The Mind and Help! I Have A Fire In My Kitchen get fairly good traffic every day - not just a wanderer here and there. So the links may be worth it as well.

All I want is a link exchange. All that is needed is a name and URL.

Talia Let me explain even better:

1. In order for a blog to work with Technorati it must be listed in the technorati network. Important stuff I agree, but I am not talking about that.

2. Backlinks in blogs and web sites, are part of the algorithm Google uses for placement in search engines and your page rank. This has nothing to do with Technorati. It is the "kosher" sharing of links. The more links to your blog the more it moves up the ranks both in normative Google Search and in the Google Blog Search (two different search engines). And the better chance you have at keeping or improving your page rank.

oh btw..this has nothing to do with compatiablity. It is simply a list you put on the side, which is common in almost all Blogging software, certainly in WordPress and Blogger especially easy with Widgets in Beta Blogger. Google picks it up automatically and almost immediately when roboting your site.
