Questions about writing scripts

Hello everyone,
Ok, I just wanted to say thanks to all taht replied to my last post. I am working on a second script already. I was doing that when I wrote the last message. I was just wondering, if the scripts don't sell, could they be made into a book or a play instead? I don't know if people do that, but I figured I could do that just in case, but if not, then I'll think of a third script. Can you do different genres? The one I previously wrote about was a live action one, and the other one i'm writing is a cartoon. Can I do that? Or do you just stick with one type. This will sound totally stupid, but I'm blind, so I can't see the credits on the screen after the movie is over to see if the same person writes different scripts for different genres. Anyway, I'm just glad I joined this board because there's nice people to talk to and that give good advice.
Thanks again

Was this an exaggeration?

If so, then yes, people write in different genres, but many try to stick to just one. Remember the saying, "Jack of all trades, master of none."

If you "being blind" is NOT an exaggeration, then why on God's green earth are you trying to write in a visual medium?

first of all - please go to lenscrafters - they work wonders for nearsightedness which seems to be your problem.

second - just decide what you want to do and stick to it. practice makes perfect but if you keep changing your mind then you'll always be less than

rewrite on!
