I found a Lawrence S. Freundlich, with a sellers profile on ebay and as an author on HarperCollins. The press may have been called Freundlich Books, but doesn't seem to have published anything since the mid-80s, just going by a cursory search.

Thanks. One of my very favorite books- "Good Girls Gone Bad" was a product of that publisher. I wondered if they would be a candidate for my book! Darn!
