The Fibonacci thread made me think of another potential form. Last night, as I was falling asleep, something made me think of the Pi Day parties my wife's coworkers used to have. For those who don't know, Pi Day parties are based on the approximate value of pi - 3.14159. So every year, on March 14, at 1:59PM, a bunch of geeks get together and throw themselves a big geekfest.
Now I won't have a chance to try it out for a while yet (too many paying gigs to take the time to write for pleasure - what kind of sick problem is that?), but I wanted to offer it to the community at large in case it might spur something.
The idea is that the beats of each line are one of the digits in the value of pi.

I have my doubts rhythmically about the last line being so long, but let's see where that gets you.
