Mentioning multiple sub in agent query

Hi there,
Ok, i've made it to the stage where I am ready to pitch my novel to an agent. I've done my research and hammered out most of the query letter (talk about writer's block) and am having trouble with how to let the agents know that I am submitting ot several agents simultaneously (as recommended in Jeff Herman's book).

Does anyone have any eloquent suggestions? Any thoughts are appreciated.

After the pitch, you simply say This is a simultaneous query. Than you for your consideration (or whatever) and sign your name. There is no "cute" way to do it. Just say it.

Thanks. It just looked so awkward, I feared appearing too novice. Here goes...

If it's only a query, it's understood that it's probably a simultaneous submission. If it's a partial, if the agent doesn't really care, you don't have to say it's a simsub. It's a courtesy to tell the other agents who are reading your ms if you happen to find an agent. Obviously, if the agent asks for an exclusive read, you shouldn't simsub it anyway.
