This happens with time going in the other direction, too. I get an idea, and while I'm jotting notes and thinking it through, some joker's book using my idea hits the stores... The nerve, huh?

We've been sworn to silence, but I need to tell you that the mind scanners are ON in the attic of your house and are regularly transmitting your thoughts to the Writer's Guild Satellite.

Aluminum foil helmet is recommended, but there are two considerations:

1- shiny side OUT (you'll not believe the number of folks who forget this simple maxim, to their peril.)
2- ground wire from foil helmet clipped to a convenient discharge point. Good are: water pipes, metal bookshelves, dishwasher. Bad are: pets, spouse.
