Niether.

I think you should be a student of the English Language first and then one of the craft and Industry. THEN, maybe then, if you are still interested you can start writing and working on some projects.

Right now you are trying to run marathons while still learning to walk.

You are not going to be taken with ANY amount of credibility until you can at least speak and write well.

Is English a second language for you?
Well, that's fine, work on it some more. Take classes. Allow people to correct you. Study other's posts, read lots of books, and scripts.

To scripter1 don't talk about me!

you need some people skills before you think about being anything. you won't be hired.so stop talking about me and think about yourself always worried about what I do. you must feel less than me.

Nobody wants to be mean buddy. It's just that every post you make has broken English in it. Seriously...do you really write? If you do, does it look like your posts? I would really work on it. Like it was said above....you will not be taken seriously at all by anyone. There are some very talented writers on this board who get their script tossed out by agents and product co's every day. Where does that leave you? Please take the criticism constructively. Do you think I call an agent up and call him a meanie when he tells me my script sucks? No. I take it for what it's worth and try to learn from it.

That's a good question right now.
Writersliving, there is no need to lash out. Scripter's post may have been less than diplomatic, but it has merit. Editors and, I imagine, producers see numerous manuscripts and scripts that are difficult to read because the writer does not have a solid grasp of basic writing skills. As part of the writing craft it is important to work not only on our storytelling skills but also on how the story is presented. This includes using proper punctuation, grammar, and spelling.

May we all fulfill our dreams.

Since this is the Script Writing forum, let's concentrate on writing.

Take the critiques you get with a grain of salt. Invariably, some of the critics will be kooks, bitter curmudgeons, or complete fools. ~odocoileus
