I'm formatting my script in Korean television format. This isn't a script I plan to publish/produce though.
The average Korean drama is about 47 minutes. (You have no idea how many dramas I watched to come up with that number). That's because there are no running commercials during Korean dramas, so they run longer, and then there are commercials before and after each show. (They make up for it in sponsors during the program).
The rule is to keep it shorter than say, 47 pages, because that's harder to cut into than to lengthen for a director. How many pages do I shorten it by? What would be the most ideal? Is shortening it by 10 pages too much?
I kinda want to play like it's a real script. =P I figure the American rules can apply for my "pretend". (AKA delusions)
