For those who of you who don't know about them, I've found some excelent sites that allow you to download text versions of free etexts of works that are in the public domain, which pretty much covers every classic every written, from Aristotle to Joyce, Ovid to Proust.
Like you I much prefer to read from a page in a book in my hand, but for those of us who have internet access in the work place, and can sneak an hour of reading in at lunch or through the day ;-) then these sites should keep you busy. Enjoy!
