Add a sentence to the story

I just thought this would be interesting.
Here is how it works. Everyone writes only one or two sentences, that go's with the persons above them. The idea is to create one story. Make it as crazy as you want.

It was half past 5 and the October chill was to much for Lilly's light jacket.

She hates wearing coats, no way is she giving up on her jacket yet.

She had another reason for keeping her present attire--this particular jacket was particularly special.
