Wow! I am already overwhelmed by the amount of activity on this forum... I was up till all hours last night looking around.

After hearing many people tell me I should write a book, I finally decided to give it a whirl. Although it isn't the story most people who say that will expect, (usually it is said in response to some humorous anecdote I've shared about my heathen children) I'm having fun with it.

Maybe by the time I have the requisite 50 posts I will have enough written to submit for critique.

Looking forward to learning all I can and getting to know everyone!

There is indeed a lot to read and learn here. You can go to SYW (password - vista) before you have 50 posts to get a feel for what to expect and throw in your own two cents. (In fact, it is considered polite to have dipped your toes in before you submit something of your own)
