MirandaWrites is on a distinguished road
Wink Hello from Nebraska, US

Just doing my part to contribute to the 83% of people that want to write a book. Although I've nearly finished my first book, well the first draft of my first book, I'm still very new to the process.
To all of the people that stop in just to say hello to a new stranger, thank you in advance, as I may not be able to navigate the site well enough yet to come back and thank you later.
To all of the conductors of words and manipulators of story, to each of you that put your MC through hell and back, cheers!
Miranda

Hey, Miranda, welcome. It does take a while to find all the rooms and corridors and hidden passageways in here...... I've sure not finished exploring yet. But it's a rich and worthy journey. Good luck with your book!

Welcome Miranda! I was lucky to have been stationed at Cornhusker AAP in Grand Island. I loved it there. Best wishes on your first draft. See you 'round the boards.

Oh cool. GI's grown quite a bit since I was there in *ahem* the 80s. I remember there was an awesome taco stand in the mall--not a chain. I don't think it's there anymore. Alas.

Yeah, there are 2 malls now. But the main mall has a delicious authentic mexican place that's well, mouth watering. They don't even station anyone out at the ordinance plant anymore, so I figured it might have been a few *ahem* years!
It has grown substantially just in the past 10 years. You know you're really on to something when you have 2 Walmarts...right?

Oh cool! Thanks for the welcome! How far are you into the writing process? Are you planning to use local resources once you are ready to publish? Or have you published?
