Offscreen voice location.
i've got a scene where some guy's being hunted and the (supernatural) hunter is taunting him from the darkness. the idea is that the voice is coming from random directions each time, making the hunted guy totally disoriented etc.
what's the best approach to this as the "charactername (off)" doesn't seem to cover it. |

Generally 'ZombieBob (O.S.)' is the standard.

EXT. WOODS.NIGHT
The hero moves about carefully, holding the machete in his left hand and the flame thrower in his right. From the darkness... ZOMBIE (OS) You're a dead man. The hero spins to his right, his eyes searching. ZOMBIE (OS) May as well cut your own throat. The hero spins to his left... the voice constantly changing directions, taunting him. ZOMBIE (OS) I've got the girl... Something like that would work. |
